Alisha is a proud graduate of California State University, Chico where she had the privilege of being the first woman of color to serve as the Associated Students President of the student body. She also spent a summer during her undergraduate years with AES as an intern. These opportunities, coupled with Alisha’s personal experiences, is how she developed a passion for social justice, creating systemic change for marginalized communities, and youth empowerment — and she is excited to bring those passions back to AES. Alisha currently works in sales at LinkedIn, partnering with local and state governments in California and the entire West Coast, in hopes of creating economic opportunity for members of the workforce. Prior to her time at LinkedIn, she worked at Salesforce.org where she supported Higher Education institutions achieve their student success goals through technology. Alisha is also a member of the CSU, Chico College of Business Advisory Board. The experiences outlined above reflect several of Alisha’s passions, but in addition to her professional work, she also enjoys traveling, binge watching TV shows, and exploring New York City (mostly through its food), where she now lives.
