Ana Taukolo has worked for almost 10 years in the Youth Development Field and is the Director of Youth Programs for the Sacramento nonprofit Alliance for Education Solutions (AES). She has mentored students of color and marginalized groups within the Sacramento City Unified School District, facilitated diverse conversations about hope in the Placer County Juvenile Detention Center, empowered thousands of students across the state of California to dream big and to change the dynamics of a pipeline to prison while creating opportunities for a pipeline to and through college. Ana specializes in creating programs that focus on youth empowerment and mentorship for young individuals who grow up in areas of poverty encouraging them to look beyond their barriers as underrepresented students. She is currently enrolled at Sacramento State to obtain a Master’s in Business Administration and to share her knowledge of business to empower communities of color to build generational wealth and narrow the wealth gap.
