Jen is a graduate of California State University, Chico and Santa Clara University, School of Law. She has also earned a Professional Certificate in Fundraising Management and Graduate Certificate in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University Lilly School of Philanthropy.

Jen practiced business and nonprofit law and taught entrepreneurship law at CSU, Chico. She left the practice of law to engage in her true passion of working with young people to positively impact their community. She has worked full-time in higher education for eight years in the areas of civic engagement and leadership.

Now, Jen utilizes her past experience to engage others with a passion to help young people with AES. She brings with her over a decade of experience serving on nonprofit boards and development committees. Jen’s other passions are her family, friends, and volunteering in her community.
