Katie Peterson is a proud first generation college student who earned her M.S. in College Counseling and Student development and spent the last 15 years working in Higher Education. For the majority of her time in higher education she worked at the Cross-Cultural Leadership Center (CCLC) at California State University, Chico where she focused on empowering and equipping students of color to overcome personal challenges in obtaining their long term goals. Katie has a passion for improving and enhancing the infrastructure of organizations, building intentional relationships and strategically dismantling systems of oppression.

Katie is the proud mother of 3 young children, two of which were adopted from the foster care system. She the Chief of Operations for ATP Designs located in Chico California and is excited to support the life changing and meaningful work of Alliance for Education Solutions. In her free time Katie find spiritual fulfillment in nature, caring for her urban homestead and traveling.
